The California Technology Assessment Forum is an activity of the Blue Shield of California Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to providing information and transparency about new and emerging technologies.
The Foundation's primary benefactor, Blue Shield of California, has 45 years of experience in traditional technology assessment.
Forum co-sponsors are selected based on their commitment to the mission and vision of CTAF. Co-sponsors are also selected based on their complementary organizational competencies that support the CTAF mission and vision.
California Healthcare Association

Based in Sacramento, the California Healthcare Association (CHA) is the statewide leader representing the interests of nearly 500 hospitals and health systems in California. CHA operates in conjunction with three corporate members - Hospital Council of Northern and Central California, Hospital Association of Southern California, and Healthcare Association of San Diego and Imperial Counties. CHA provides member hospitals and health systems with state and federal representation and advocacy in the legislative and regulatory arenas through an agenda designed to improve health care quality, access and coverage; promote health care reform and integration; achieve adequate health care funding; improve and update laws and regulations; and restore public trust in health care.
