Does Not Meet CTAF Criteria

This topic was reviewed by the California Technology Assessment Forum on October 17, 2007. It was recommended that CTA as a substitute for coronary angiography for the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis does not meet the CTAF TA criteria 2 through 5 for safety, efficacy and improvement in health outcomes. CTA in the evaluation of acute chest pain in the ER does not meet CTAF TA criteria 2 through 5 for safety, efficacy and improvement in health outcomes.
