Does Not Meet CTAF Criteria

It was recommended that the use of the Charité artificial disc does not meet Technology Assessment Criteria 4 and 5 for safety, effectiveness and improvement in health outcomes when used to treat pain and disability from degenerative disc disease of the lumbar spine.

In addition, it was recommended that the use of the ProDisc artificial disc does not meet Technology Assessment Criteria 4 and 5 for safety, effectiveness and improvement in health outcomes when used to treat pain and disability from degenerative disc disease of the lumbar spine.
