Recommendation: It is recommended that the use of a wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD) for patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest and who are not candidates for or refuse an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) does not meet CTAF TA criteria 2-5 for efficacy and improvement in health outcomes.
